Collision repair for every kind of damage

A collision rarely damages just what you can see. A bumper hit can bend reinforcements, crush absorbers, and knock sensors out of alignment. We start with a careful teardown so the estimate covers the real damage and the repair is done once.

We repair minor fender benders, side impacts, front and rear collisions, and major structural damage on cars, trucks, SUVs, and work vehicles.

Structural repair on the frame rack

When an impact moves the structure, cosmetic work alone won’t fix it. We set the vehicle on our frame rack and pull the structure back to where it belongs before panels go on, so doors, hood, and trunk line up and close the way they should.

FAQ

Common questions

How long does collision repair take?2026-11-04T13:39:48-08:00

It depends on the damage and parts availability. Minor repairs can be a few days; structural repairs take longer. We give you a realistic timeline with your estimate and keep you updated.

Will my car look like it was never in an accident?2026-11-04T13:39:48-08:00

That’s the goal. We use PPG paint, OEM color matching, and blending into adjacent panels so the repair doesn’t stand out.

Do I have to use the shop my insurance recommends?2026-11-04T13:39:48-08:00

Usually not. In Washington, the choice of repair shop is typically up to you. Let your insurer know you’d like Bellingham Autoworks to do the work.

Can I drop my car off after hours?2026-11-04T13:39:48-08:00

Yes. We offer after-hours vehicle drop-off. Call us and we’ll explain how it works.

★★★★★

Our car had a minor collision, and honestly, we weren’t expecting perfection when it came to the cosmetic repairs. But the team absolutely exceeded our expectations. The repairs were completed in just five days, and the results were amazing.
